Well well, haven’t I been a bit quiet on the blogging front lately?! Life has kind of gotten in the way, as I’ve had two fairly major (and absolutely wonderful) things happen during the first half of 2013 – I’ve moved from the city to the country and…I got married! I am now a Mrs and my wedding was the most amazing day of my life – the day after our wedding I said to my new husband, ‘Can we do it again next weekend?!’, it was just so much fun and so lovely to be surrounded by our most favourite people in the world. I’ve included a few photos of the day below, including the favours I made for my guests, because that’s what you’re all dying to see right?! Our photographer was the wonderful Anna of Sweet Hope Photography, who was just everything we could want in a wedding photographer and so much more – she is an absolute delight! We are lucky enough to be able to say that every other vendor we worked with on our wedding was equally as wonderful, and I’ll post about them in more detail once I can get my hands on more photographs!
I had the pleasure of styling a sweets table for the lovely Natalie for her kitchen tea on the weekend and I’m really excited to share some photos of the event with you. Natalie was after a chic all-white table for her kitchen tea, with lots of sweet little details to delight her guests. The table featured some yummy treats like mini vanilla cupcakes, lychee jelly beans, milk bottles, white chocolate raspberry bullets, vanilla bean macarons and white chocolate haystacks, as well as some sweet handcrafted details like ‘i do’ cupcake toppers, personalised lolly bags and ‘C & N’ fabric-wrapped initials (for Chris & Natalie!). The Brisbane River provided the most beautiful backdrop to the event. I loved working on this table and I’m so glad that Natalie really loved it as well!
